The Founder and Leader of Savior Light in Jesus Ministry in the Greater Accra Region, Osomafo Mensah, has said there is nothing wrong with using State money to build the National Cathedral.
The Man of God noted that the construction of the National Cathedral would bring the blessing of God upon the nation.
In an interaction with the media in Accra yesterday, Osomafo Mensah defended President Akufo Addo’s plan of building the Cathedral and pleaded with Ghanaians to render the necessary supports for the Government in its course.
“King David in the Bible taxed the people of Israel for his son, King Solomon to build temple of God and so, if a Government today wants to do same, there is nothing wrong with it” he disclosed.
The Man of God disclosed his readiness to personally donate towards the construction of the Cathedral when the need arise.
Osomafo further urged Christians to donate towards the construction 9f the Cathedral rather than opposing it as children of God.
He seized the opportunity and advised Ghanaians to exhibit lives full of emulation to help champion the works of God.
“I want Ghanaians to always go on their knees and pray for the total development of the country” he stated.
