The development chief of Pokuase traditional area in the Ga north municipality of the Greater Accra Region, Nii Darko I, has alleged that Nii Amoo Dodoo (Fitz Parker) is not the Head of the Nii Dodoo Clottey Family as he parades himself.
According to the chief, Nii Dodoo who is aged has illegally been using his fake title to defraud people of their monies to enrichen himself.
The development chief’s statement was in line with a recent media release signed by Nii Dodoo claiming that he was the Principal family elder of the Nii Dodoo Family of Pokuase.
“How can one person in one breath say he is a principal family elder and in other sphere say he is Family head and be giving indentures,” he queried.
Nii Darko I stated that the leaderships of the Nii Dodoo Clottey Family of Pokuase has on several occasions warned and written to him (Nii Dodoo) to stop parading himself as their Family Head but he continues with what he says is his criminalities.
“Nii Amoo Dodoo and Vida Akoto Bamfo can never claim to be the Head of the peaceful Nii Dodoo Clottey Family of Pokuase with their autocratic lifestyle” he stated.
He alleged that Nii Dodoo has illegally joined hands with Justice Akoto Bamford to allegedly, fraudulently sell properties belonging to the entire members of the Nii Dodoo Clottey Family to individuals and estate developers.
“He Dodoo and his corrupt cohorts are against me as development chief of the area just because of my efforts in ensuring that all lost properties belonging to the entire members of the family were retrieved,” he stated.
He further alleged that Nii Dodoo has allegedly illegally given over 125 acres of land belonging to the family to Brainsfield Limited to line his personal pockets without the knowledge of members of the family.
“Nii Dodoo has always been against me because I am leading a court action against him and he feels embeamed but let it be known to Nii Dodoo that he does not enstool or distool chiefs and I will therefore use my capacity as Development Chief of the Area to protect our properties for the benefit of the current members as well and the future generations of the family,” he disclosed.
The legitimate development Chief of Pokuase therefore advised the general public to stop transacting any business with Nii Amoo Dodoo on behalf of the Nii Dodoo Clottey Family, saying that there is a land Secretariat headed by Michael Nii Amoo Dodoo and Mumin Darku Dodoo who are in charge of all conveyances and all land related issues.
According to him, Fitz Parker (Nii Amo Dodoo) had refused to account for his stewardship since 2016 that he was made the Head of Land issues.
“Countless calls and meetings were scheduled forging to come and account for all land sales yet till today Nii Dodoo has refused to come clean on that and that was what resulted in the amended resolution to take him out as leader in all land related issues on 27th March, 2022 and published in the Ghanaian Times on 28th April 2022 on page 30,” Nii Darko I disclosed.
“I want to make it clear that Nii Dodoo’s allegations that I, Nii Darko, have been using the names of Captain Edmond Koda and the Mr. Lord Commey to harass people is never true since I have never harassed any individual over anything before,” he disclosed.
Nii Darko I further stated that Nii Dodoo recently approached the Principal Elders of the family in the palace with fully armed landguards to take attacked the Dzaase whilst enstooling some new traditional leaders to run affairs of the family.
“I challenge Nii Amo to cite one, just one incidence where I mentioned Lord Commey and Captain Edmond Koda’s name anywhere to harass people” he stated.
