Chiefs and Assembly Members within the Sekyere Kumawu District in the Ashanti Region have expressed gratitude to President Nana Akufo Addo, for re-nominating the District Chief Executive, Samuel Addai Agyekum, who was endorsed 100%, to serve the people.
After the voting last Friday, Mr. Addai Agyekum polled 28 YES votes representing a hundred percent of the total votes cast.
Samuel Addai Agyekum who was rejected twice had the second voting process nullified over reasons that some government appointees who had been sacked and replaced still had their names in the register and voted against him, supposedly.
According to the chiefs, despite the machinations of some people with the party, they were grateful that the President did not disappoint them but rather renorminated the District Chief Executive who won hands down after his second try.
Stay tune.
