I suspect some elbows have been greased, as Kwame A-Plus earlier blew the alarm. I will grant interviews and open fire 🔥 soon on this bogus report, which doesn’t make any sense. The international community will be aware of this cover up.
If there were breaches, shouldn’t there be prosecutions? After more than 13 people lost their lives, recorded various degrees of injuries and a whole community was collapsed? The Interior Minister, the Chief Inspector of Mines, the Inspector of Mines around Tarkwa Area, Owner of Arthanns Company and the Responsible Person of MAXAM should all go to jail. Failure to do so will make this report nonsensical.
After a careful review of this report, it is clear and all Ghanaians can recognize that the causes of the incident were due to negligence, regulatory lapses and institutional failures, as I stated in my preliminary opinion, upon gathering intelligence from the people in the area.
Didn’t the Interior Minister see similar breaches in 2017 and warned them? Did he follow up to ensure strict compliance? Why was he renewing their yearly explosive licenses, knowing that MAXAM wasn’t operating up to standards and their negligence could cause serious disaster? Will the Interior Minister still be at post? Lord have mercy!!
I will write a counter statement and publish soon. What is US$ 6 million to MAXAM? A company that is making billions of dollars from Ghana? In fact, this report and the recommendations are total crap. I have been admiring and commending the Minister, Samuel Abu Jinapor but he has lost this one with this bogus release.
For this, I will go unprofessional and fight for the good people of Apiatse. I will throw ”social media bombs” soon and the whole world will hear about this sick report.
For God, country and the good people of Apiatse.
