Officials of the New Patriotic Party have admonished Andy Appiah-Kubi and Eugene Boakye Antwi, former members of the New Patriotic Party to stop targeting and blaming individuals over the unfortunate loss of the party in the just ended general elections.
“Instead of blaming some people in the party, Andy Kwame Appiah-Kubi and Eugene Boakye Antwi should blame themselves over the unnecessary attacks on the party that also contributed to the defeat in the just ended elections, a leading member of the party.
“You went hard on Ken Ofori Atta and President Akufo Addo over issues that could have been dealt with and resoled in private. You accused the president of acts he did not commit and supported the propaganda of the National Democratic Congress and succeeded in making the NPP unpopular. Instead of reflecting on your attacks on the president and the former finance minister that led to the loss of power, you are back again playing the blame game. This is so wrong. Raving and ranting wouldn’t solve the problems and challenges in the party. Sit back and reflect on your attitude also and you would realize how you also contributed to the loss, he stated, another leading member of the party stated
According to him, Eugene Boakye Antwi and Andy Appiah-Kubi must take a chill pill and reflect of the acts that affected the performance of the party in the elections and work on them.
He further urged party supporters to ignore all the speculations and rally behind the leadership of the party to resolve all the internal challenges to enable them comeback with full force and wrestle power from the NDC IN 2028
