Agona Swedru Market women are very angry with former Minister of Gender Children and Social Protection who doubles as MP for Agona West Constituency over her announcement to contest as Independent candidate in December 7 elections.
The women described her decision as selfishness and mischievous attempt to give the seat to NDC candidate.
They strongly disagree with the MP and warned her to stop else they will go hard on her. Former Minister for Gender Children and Social protection was captured in a video at Agona Abodom declaring her intention to contest as Independent candidate in the upcoming election.
Addressing a press conference, leaders of Agona Swedru Market Women, express disappointment in the Cynthia Morrison for taken such decision.
Furthermore, Queen mother of Agona Swedru Market women Charity Dankwa appealed to Agona West NPP Constituency, Regional and National Executives to call Cynthia Morrison to order since she has benefited in NPP administration.
