Effutu North District Police Command has arrested four Suspects with guns after they fired live bullet at Gomoa Pomadze chief palace in attempt to Assassinate Nana Apata Kofi.
Gomoa Pomadze Chief, Nana Apata Kofi (v) is encountering Chieftaincy disputes for the past 10 years.
In an interview with Adom news, some Asafo members who witness the gunshots alleged that, those suspects came to chief palace to Assassinate the chief after several attempt to destooled.
The Asafo members says they will not allow any group of the people to put the laws into their own hand and create mayhem in Gomoa Pomadze.
Meanwhile Nana Apata Kofi (V) who escaped death expressed shock but blame Omanhene of Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Council for failing to settle long Chieftaincy disputes in the Gomoa Pomadze Township.
Nana Apata Kofi says, they have disassociated themselves from Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Council and they are not going to worship Obrempong Nyamful Krampah again because he has failed to solve Chieftaincy disputes in the Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Council.
