Hon. Francis Asenso-Boakye, Minister for Works and Housing has paid a working visit to the site earmarked for the construction of affordable houses at Dedesua, a suburb in Kumasi.
The land was given to State Housing Company Ltd through the Ministry by the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
The project targets civil and public servants within Greater Kumasi. It consists of two-bedroom, 3-bedroom and apartments.
The Minister visited the project site to familiarize himself with projects being undertaken by State Housing Company in the Ashanti Region.
The Minister who is also the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bantama visited the John Agyekum Kufour Estate in the Atwima Nwabiagya as well.
He was accompanied on the inspection tour by the Ashanti Regional Minister Hon. Simon Osei Mensah and other dignitaries.
The State Housing team which took the Minister and his entourage round was led by its Managing Director, Mr. Kwabena Ampofo Appiah.
The John Agyekum Kufour project which also consists of 2 and 3 bedroom detached houses as well as apartments are at various stages of completion.
