The Head of the Akwaanor Royal Family of Ashalaja in the Greater Accra Region, has cautioned one Ishmael ArmahQuansah and other members of the public who continue to encroach on their land to desist forthwith.
They have announced their preparedness to battle any person who would put the law into his or her hands to illegally take over their property.
He disclosed that the family has not ordered anyone to sell their land on their behalf and have pressed the warning button to general public to eschew any act that would provoke the family to descend on them.
Addressing the media at a press conference, flanked by the kingmakers and principal Elders of the Akwaanor Royal Family of Ashalja in Accra yesterday, Head of the Family, Solomon MintahAckaah, said “it has come to the attention of the Akwaanor Royal Family of Ashalaja that one Ishmael ArmahQuansah has been holding and or carrying himself out as the Head of the Akwaanor Royal Family and illegally selling our long acquired family property”.
He disclosed that the family has won judgement at the law court over their ownership of the land and are ready to tackle any intruder on their property.
“I want to categorically state that the said Ishmael ArmahQuansah has not been appointed as the Head of the family and that his conduct of holding and carrying himself out as Head of the Akwaanor Royal Family is illegal, fraudulent and result in the breach of peace,” he stated.
“I wish to also bring to the attention of the general public and all present here that I am the substantive Head of the Kwaanor Royal Family of Ashalaja, my head of the family having been confirmed by the Supreme Court on 14th April, 2021 and so any person who deals with Ishmael ArmahQuansah in his capacity as the Head of the family does so at his or her own risk,”NiiAckaahcautioned.
