Ghana Real Estate Professionals Association (GREPA) is set to host Africa Estate Conference & Expo (ARCE) in Ghana.
This conference whichis an initiative of the Association will be held every two years in a designated country.
This is the first of its kind and it is expected to host over 1000 local attendees and more than 300 international attendees from all over the World including experienced local and international speakers, instructors, investors, industry practitioners as well as global audience with a vision to empower, motivate and equip industry professionals with tools to succeed.
Speaking at the forum to announce the conference, the Founder of GREPA, Mrs. Victoria OseiSampah said GREPA would incorporate the 10th anniversary of the Association which would also draw much wider regional and international profile of delegates.
The Association is set to bring Professionals in the Ghanaian Real Estate Industry together for purposes of promoting the goals of its members.
“The ARCE’21 would promote ethics and professional standards within the industry as well as creating and supporting local and international networking opportunities for professional in the real estate industry”, she explained.
The ARCE’21 would also serve as a platform to connect global stakeholders in the industry to promote real estate in Ghana and gather support for Legislation, Research and Education.
The Project Coordinator and the Administrator for the Association KwabenaPeasah on his part, said GREPA would introduce the Multiple Listing System (MLS) which is a property listing and data aggregation system that allows a property to be listed only once (by the original agent) but shared by multiple agents to market it faster.
According to Mr.Peasah the system has a unique ability to collate and store data on property sales and lease for about a decade, this data becomes useful later in market analysis and trends.
“The MLS system is truly working tool that creates a professional identify (profile) and a virtual office,create a mini website for the agent as well as network of equally professional colleagues who are working with our codes and ethics”, he indicated.
The Project Coordinator continued further that the MLS system that GREPA has is the loopghana.com and its syndicated on many international property listing portals concluding the largest real estate market place in the world Realtor.com, adding that “what this means is that when u list a property on the LoopGhana MLS, your listing is shown in over 85 countries around the world, it gives you widest coverage and prospective audience, you can see who is viewing your property and from which country they are viewing, how long a person stays online checking out your listing etc.”
He explained that one can receive enquiry emails from around the world. It has other features when fully activated will customize your brands in company logo and letterheads.
“Above all it has the CMA which is the comparative market analysis that analysis a property’s pricing regime in an area over a period of the time.
This system tracks transactions and has the potential to help the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), in their tax recovery exercise, since it has records all real estate transactions. It is a wonderful and powerful tool for professionals.”
