The Founder and President of the Spartans for New Patriotic Party (NPP), a volunteer group of the party, Frederick Green has called for the need to pay attention to the grassroot.
He noted that, it is only when the party recognized the grassroots that it can remain a strong political party in the country by creating room for victory in all elections.
Mr. Green, who is also the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ziblit Green Logistics Limited, hinted that the grassroot of the party has contributed massively in all the past political victories chalked by the party and must therefore be empowered for more victories.
He announced his group’s readiness to ensure that the challenges of the party’s grassroot are addressed for the benefit of the NPP ahead of the 2024 general elections.
Mr. Green said the main aim of the Spartans for NPP was to canvass votes for the party in the 2024 General elections and beyond.
The group, Mr. Green also said is poised to help the NPP break Eight (8) years political jinx in the country.
He made this known when he led his Spartans for NPP to donate items worth thousands of Ghana Cedis to Muslim Communities across the country during their Ramadan fasting.
The items donated were bags of rice, bags of sugar, soft drinks, cartons of milk, boxes of milo among other items,
The items, according to the Founder of the group, were to help the Muslims during their important Ramadan fasting period which was started weeks ago across the world.
He advised all Muslims to adhere to all the laid down COVID-19 safety protocols during their fasting period and after.
He therefore lauded President Akufo-Addo for the effective measure’s government put in place in the fight against the deadly coronavirus pandemic.
The NPP NasaraCordinator of the Ablekuma North Constituency, Labaram Braimah, who received the items on behalf of the Muslim communities, thanked the donor for the gesture.
He indicated that the items would go a long way to help them during their Ramadan fasting period.
Mr. Braimah also called on other groups and individuals of the NPP to emulate the Spartans gesture and give to Muslims during the period for blessings.
